Tarek Fahl, MD founded DocResponse in 2015 to help medical providers by giving them tools to provide clinic efficiency and revenue gains as well as reduce provider burnout by empowering patients to assist in documenting into their medical record.
Dr. Fahl is a 1996 graduate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; he completed residency in Orthopedic Surgery from Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia in 2001 and completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2002.
In addition to serving as CEO to DocResponse, Dr. Fahl keeps his orthopedic skills honed by still practicing at Texas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, a single specialty orthopedic group in Houston, Texas and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Fahl joined Texas Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in 2002, ascending to managing partner in 2006. During his tenure as managing partner he was instrumental in increasing the size and revenue of the orthopedic practice; as managing partner, he increased revenue by 100%, purchased and developed key real estate, and led the construction of a 36,000 square-foot professional building..
DocResponse is not Dr. Fahl’s first foray into the technology sector. In 2012 he was a seed investor in a novel healthcare appointment solution which was acquired by the Advisory Board in 2014.
